Carson City Road Report for April 13-19

The following information applies to the period of April 13-19.

On Monday, April 13, and Tuesday, April 14, Oxoby Loop, the entrance to Mills Park and the Community Center from William Street will be closed due to paving as part of an ongoing water main project.

Due to events at the Legislative Building, E. Fifth Street will be closed from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, between Carson and Stewart streets.

The Carson City Landfill is upgrading the approaches to the scales at its entrance. All weighing of both inbound and outbound traffic will be done on one scale. Drivers are asked to use caution when entering and expect some delay.

Due to utility work, there will be shoulder closures on the following roadways with minimal delays expected:

The west side of Minnesota Street just south of Eighth Street.

The south side of Arrowhead Drive between Goni Road and Convair Drive.

The northeast corner of Applegate Way and Northgate Lane.

The south end of Circle Drive (Tuesday only).

The north side of Snyder Avenue just west of Bigelow Drive.

The following sidewalk closures will be in place for the entire week:

The north side of Musser Street between Division and Minnesota streets.

The east side of Minnesota Street between Musser and Proctor streets.
