LeRoy “Lee” Francis Snyde

LeRoy “Lee” Francis Snyder born July 23rd, 1927 passed peacefully March 29th, 2015. LeRoy was raised in Sumner, Iowa. He was a Career Airforce Officer, Strategic Air Command for 25 years. Lee was a lifetime student of Business, Leadership, and Astronomy. He was a member of the Carson City community for nearly 15 years. Lee was a father to 3 children: Mark, Scott & Cathy. He was a grandfather to six: Charity, Philip, Isaiah, Jordan, Faith & Hope. He was a great-grandfather to four: Jillian, Alycia, Matthew and John. Lee was a step father, grandfather, mentor, and friend to many. A memorial will be held Saturday, April 25th and 2:15 pm at the Redfield Observatory/Campus in Reno.
