Nearly 100 people are expected to rally Saturday in front of the State Legislative building in Carson City to try to save wild horses.
The International Wild Horse Rally is one of nearly 40 rallies that will be happening across the world, in 35 states and in Australia, London and Canada. The purpose is to bring attention to the survival of wild horses and burros across the world and to stop roundup, neglect and abuse, according to the event’s Facebook page.
The rally in Carson City will be held from 10 a.m.-noon, and about 80 people have signed up to attend, with more expected to come.
