On June 29, 2015 Tommy passed away at his home in Dayton after a long illness. Tommy was born in Reno; Nevada to Ouzel & Doris Locke and spent most of is youth in Imlay & Lovelock, Nevada. Tommy graduated from Pershing County High School in 1964 were he loved playing football & being outdoors. After graduation Tommy’s love of the rodeo took him throughout the state and beyond riding saddle bronc’s & bulls. Tommy spent two years in the Army with a combat tour in Vietnam. Tommy’s 36 year career with NDOT took him all over Nevada were he enjoyed meeting & interacting with people and seeing new country. Tommy was a member of the Virginia City Chapter of the ECV. During his retirement Tommy’s life long love of the outdoors kept him busy riding Quads, hunting & camping with family and friends. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and an older brother Bob. Tommy is survived by his wife of over 33 years Judy and son Jason of Dayton, Nv; brother John of Oregon and several nieces/nephews, cousins and many friends. We will miss him dearly. Love, Judy. Memorial Services will be held on Monday July 27, at 10:00 A.M. at the Fernley Veterans Cemetery. A celebration of life potluck will be held on Saturday July, 25 at 3:00 P.M. at the East 50 Bar & Grill , 6008 Hwy 50 E. Dayton, NV. The family asks that in the lieu of flowers that you give a donation to the Fernley Honor Guard or to the Fernley Veterans Cemetery.
