The family of Boni Lee Gable, wish to make known her peaceful passing from this world on August 6, 2015. Born on November 26, 1922 to Frank and Gwendolyn Dunlap in Farrar, Iowa. Boni was 92 years old. Boni moved to California in 1941 with her sister Bettie. In 1949 she married Ralph Quinly. Raising a family of 3 children, Boni kept very busy as a homemaker and an employee at JC Penny. Ralph died in 1981, and soon after Boni honored their retirement plans, moving to Carson City, NV by herself. In 1988, Boni married Clarence (Jack) Gable, a classmate of hers from North High School in Iowa. They remained together until his death in 2004. In 1995, Boni’s only daughter Sandy died. Throughout her life, Boni’s faith remained strong. Over the years, Boni enjoyed gardening, cooking, the outdoors, making useful items for charities, and most importantly spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed “tatting”, an art she learned from her mother. She will be greatly missed by her sons Mark Quinly and Neil Quinly; grandchildren Jennifer Quinly, Erika Quinly, and Matthew Quinly; great-grandchildren Elijah Contreras, Eric Lopez, and Aislinn Palisoc; niece Patricia Fabian and grand-niece Kimberly Erickson (and family); and nephew Robert Snell (and family), as well as many dear friends.
