Jack Broyles, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away surrounded by his family on August 4, 2015. Jack was born in Berkeley, CA on October 11, 1920. He spent his youth in Chico, CA and played football for Chico High School. After receiving his high school diploma, he attended Chico State University. He began working for the telephone company in 1941and interrupted his career to enlist in the Army Air Corp in February of 1942. After an honorable discharge in December of 1945, he returned to work at the telephone company. He worked until 1982, and retired after 41 years of service, a true company man. Jack met his wife Marge in Marysville, CA in 1948 and they married on April 16, 1949. They had two daughters, Barbara and Janet. The family moved to Carson City in January of 1965. Jack enjoyed the outdoors and exploring the state of Nevada to hunt and fish. Jack is survived by his wife Marge Broyles, his daughter Janet (Douglas) Ohlson, his two grandchildren Paul Felesina and Katie Felesina and his two nieces Patricia (Pete) Peterson and Margie Nell (Ted) Miller. A private graveside service will be held in Chico, CA on August 17, 2015.
