1956 - 2015
Our beloved cowboy, Bracey Dean Neal, went to sleep for the last time on August 12, 2015. Bracey was born to Bracey and Evelyn Neal in Oregon where he grew up working in lumber mills, cowboying, and competing in motor cross races. As an adult he pursued his passion and became a timber-faller working in Oregon, Idaho, Washington and Alaska for 20 years then began driving trucks. In 1998 he moved to Carson City, NV to start a new chapter of his life with his fiancé, Shellby Bird. They married in 2001. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, recreational shooting, reloading and was an active member of the Carson City Seventh-day Adventist church where he was a Deacon. Most of all though, he loved spending time with his wife and kids. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, 2 brothers and 1 sister. He leaves behind his wife of 13 years, Shellby Neal, children Patrick Neal, Kathleen Parker (Travis), Cody Neal, grandchildren Ronan and Toby, sister Edryn Kast (Bill), and many “adopted” sons, daughters and grandchildren. Bracey wore the titles of son, husband, father, grampy and friend proudly. His smile, sense of humor and quick wit will be greatly missed by so many who loved him. “And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.” 1 John 5:11 Rest in peace until Jesus comes. We will always love you. “Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!” 2 Thess. 3:16 A celebration of life will be held on September 13, 2015 at 3:00 in the Carson City Seventh-day Adventist Church. 405 College Pkwy, Carson City, NV. Reception to immediately follow.
