Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Dec. 5. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

Carson City Senior Center, 911 Beverly Drive, scored 100 points.

The Firkin & Fox, main kitchen, 310 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Murphy Bernardini, 1545 E. Fifth St., scored 100 points.

The Naked Spice, 3205 Retail Drive, scored 100 points.

Papa Murphy’s Take and Bake, 4314 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

VRP Manufacturing, 4610 Arrowhead Drive, scored 100 points.

Wingstop Restaurants, 3965 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Adele’s, bar and lounge, 1112 N. Carson St., scored 99 points. The bottom of coolers needed to be cleaned.

The Basil, 311 N. Carson St., scored 99 points. Food items were not properly labeled and dated.

Mallards Restaurant at Empire Ranch Golf, bar and lounge, scored 99 points. Test strips were missing for the sanitizer being used.

Mallards Restaurant at Empire Ranch Golf, main kitchen, 1875 Fairview Drive, scored 98 points. Walls, kitchen equipment and the area around the handwashing sink needed to be cleaned. Test strips were missing for the sanitizer being used.

Taqueria la Salsa, 1946 E. Highway 50, scored 98 points. Food in coolers needed to be organized according to their minimum cooking temperatures. Ready-to-eat foods were stored below raw meat.

Adele’s, restaurant, 1112 N. Carson St., scored 97 points. Two cutting boards in the kitchen needed to be replaced or repaired. The vent above the smoker needed to be cleaned, as well as areas behind the equipment line and the bottom of coolers in the back room.

Taco Bell, 4539 N. Carson St., scored 97 points. There was no certified food handler on site.

Yogo Frozen Yogurt & Sweet Treats, 3250 Retail Drive, Suite 105, scored 96 points. A freezer needed to be cleaned, and a certified food handler was not on site.

Little Caesars Pizza, 1217 S. Carson St., scored 95 points. The pizza oven needed to be cleaned, repeat violation. Equipment, areas under the food preparation tables and floor drains needed to be cleaned. Coving needed to be repaired, repeat violation. The bottom of the walk-in cooler needed to be sealed between the floor and wall, corrected on site. Trash cans were overflowing and needed to be emptied.

La Posada Real, 3205 Retail Drive, scored 94 points. There was no chlorine sanitizer issued during the dishwasher’s final rinse cycle, corrected on site. Cooked refried beans and buckets of soup were being improperly cooled, corrected on site.

Port of Subs, 1621 E. Highway 50, Suite B, scored 93 points. Eggs were stored above deli meats in the walk-in refrigerator. There were no disposable paper towels at the employee hand wash sink near the three-compartment sink.

Galaxy Fandango, 4000 S. Curry St., scored 92 points. A stem thermometer was not available at the front food service counter. Staff members were not using stem thermometers to verify proper temperatures have been reached while reheating hotdogs. Ice machine bins were not clean. The hand sink between the snack bar and the dish washing area was not firmly attached to the wall. Food debris was found under the stage in a theater. A hole for pipes to pass through was found in a wall in the rear kitchen.

Mom & Pop’s Diner, 224 S. Carson St., scored 87 points. The preparation area reach-in refrigerator was at 53 degrees; a repair was being lined up at the time of inspection. Gaps at the bottom of the entry doors needed to be repaired. Food items were not properly labeled and dated. The vacuum device used to remove waste oil was dirty. The walls and ceilings and lights needed to be cleaned.
