‘Tis the season Dayton High School art students helped decorate windows of local business to spread holiday cheer and fundraise for the Dayton High School Booster Club, a nonprofit that supports the students of Dayton High School, the Dayton community and events such as Safe and Sober Grad Night.

The holiday window art fundraiser is the club’s second annual decorating event with the support of Mrs. Wick and her art students. Support by local businesses doubled from last year during this year’s fundraiser.

The art students from Dayton High School volunteered to decorate the windows of local businesses who gave monetary donations to the DHS Booster Club. The Dayton area is now festive with holiday art décor from Disney’s Elsa and Olaf, snowmen in winter wonder lands, to Santa and his little elf helpers.

The Dayton Booster Club thanks Mrs. Wick and her art students — Amber, Cameron, Krysta, Oakley, Maggie, Yamile, Hannah G., Andrea, Alice, Ashley, Hannah B., and Kayley — for making the fundraiser a successful community orientated event. It also thanks Dayton businesses for supporting the Dayton High School Booster Club, which supports the students of Dayton High School and the Dayton community.

The club also thanks the following Dayton businesses for participating — Bloomers Florist; S&S Market/Quiznos; Salon Tart; The Pony Express; Justine’s Family Salon; Curves; Dayton Liquor; Dayton Valley Tire & Service; Dayton Dog Groomers; Pizza Factory; Roadrunner Cafe; All About Insurance; Baker’s Dozen Donuts; Coldwell Banker; Dayton Hair Salon; Dayton Valley Learning Center.
