Carson City road report for Dec. 28 through Jan. 3

The following information applies to the period of Dec. 28 through Jan. 3.

Race Track Road will be closed to through traffic between Bigelow and Schulz drives for the week.

There will be intermittent lane closures with two-way traffic maintained at the following locations due to utility work:

Presti Lane between Medical Parkway and Eagle Valley Ranch Road

Mountain Street just north of Washington Street

The northeast corner of Mountain Street and Winnie Lane

Mountain Street between King and Washington streets; shoulder work only

On Wednesday, Dec. 30, there will be an oversized load transport with pilot car escorts during the daytime hours along the following route: from Douglas County northbound on US 395/Carson Street, to northbound Stewart Street, to eastbound Fifth Street, to northbound Airport Road, to eastbound Butti Way, to northbound Fairview Drive, to eastbound US 50 into Lyon County.
