Dorothy C. Martinez, 73, passed away December 26, 2015 in Reno, NV. Dorothy was born on February 6, 1942 in Plateville, CO to Joe and Mary Garcia. She worked with the Carson City School District as an ESL aide for over thirty years. Dorothy also worked with the Washoe Tribe as a tutor. Dorothy will be missed by her husband of fifty-four years, Bill Martinez. Two sons, Robert Martinez (Sharon) and Albert Martinez (Tina), one daughter, Rene McGruder (Pat). Also four sisters, six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10:00am at St Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Carson City, NV.
