Jacqueline Naomi Wass, 77, passed away Dec. 12, 2015 at her home in Mariposa, CA. She was born October 25, 1938 in Bear Valley, CA. She was one of five siblings.

Jackie enjoyed watching baseball, football, golf and tennis. She was a San Francisco Giants and Oakland Raiders fan.

Jackie was in the nursing field most of her life in both Carson City and Mariposa.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves a daughter Jennifer (Ken) of Sparks; a son Donald (Deanne) of Carson City; grandchildren Tony Shipman (Melissa) of Mariposa; Eric Rasmussen (Misty), Scott Rasmussen (Betsy) all of Reno; Justin Wass (Breezi), Meaghan Rhoades (Mike) all of Dayton; nine great-grandchildren; a sister Rose Chase of Bear Valley; a brother Joseph Costa; numerous nieces and nephews; and her longtime friend Dean Newcomb of Mariposa.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Ann Costa; a daughter Anna Yvonne Wass; and sisters Marvene Westmoreland and Jean Spicer.

The family held a private service on Dec 28, 2015 in Bear Valley, CA.
