Laura Lee “Lolly” Beckerdite

Laura Lee “Lolly” Beckerdite, Loving Mother, Sister, and wife, passed away on December 23, 2015, she was 56 years old.

Lolly was born on September 16, 1959 in Reno Nevada the daughter of John W. & Margaret F. (Hansen) McGoodwin. The family later moved to Arkansas where Lolly grew up, returning to Carson City, NV where she graduated from Carson High School in 1977. She met and later married Richard Beckerdite in 1984 in Carson City. Lolly worked as a supervisor for the City of Carson for over 25 years.

Her hobbies included, softball, bowling, and fishing, especially bass fishing. She was a member of the Friends of the Carson City Library.

She is survived by her husband Richard Beckerdite, son Cody Beckerdite, mother Margaret McGoodwin, brothers Johnny McGoodwin, Jim (Darlene) McGoodwin, and Jeff McGoodwin, and Niece Mylena Noble. She was preceded in death by her father John McGoodwin Sr.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2015 at 1030 AM at Autumn Funerals & Cremations in Carson City.
