LAS VEGAS — Poker pro Dan Bilzerian and a friend are paying restitution and capitalizing on Bilzerian’s substantial Internet following to resolve a felony bomb case in Las Vegas without jail time or a felony conviction.

A plea deal announced Friday avoids trial on felony charges that the 34-year-old Bilzerian and 36-year-old Jeremy Guymon illegally blew up tractor-trailer cab with a homemade explosive in the desert.

A prosecutor and attorneys for the two men told a Las Vegas judge that Bilzerian will record a public service announcement for the federal Bureau of Land Management.

It’ll advise what not to do on public land.

Neither defendant appeared in person.

Their attorneys, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, entered their no-contest pleas to misdemeanor failing to extinguish a fire, and paid a combined $20,000 in restitution.
