Western Nevada College baseball falls to Cochise

HENDERSON — Western Nevada got off to a quick start with two first-inning runs, but was held in check the rest of the way in a 7-3 loss to Cochise Sunday afternnoon.

The loss dropped WNC to 6-2.

D.J. Peters and Kody Reynolds drove in the first-inning runs.

WNC lead 3-2 until the fifth when Cochise scored three runs to go ahead for good.

Jake Bennett led WNC with three hits and Brogan Secrit added two.
