RENO (AP) — Tesla Motors is looking for a few good interns — as many as 350 in Northern Nevada this summer.
Company spokesman Kohbi Brooklyn said it’s one way the electric-car maker keeps its pipeline full of skilled workers.
The Summer Job and Internship Expo kicks off Feb. 17 with a general information session open to all student on the University of Nevada, Reno campus from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The expo itself runs the next day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It’s a joint effort between Tesla and UNR.
Tesla might offer interviews on the spot, so the university is advising students to “dress to impress.”
Tesla is building a $5 billion gigafactory east of Reno it says will become the biggest lithium battery factory in the world.
