The Carson City Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2015 is currently fundraising for its class project.
Each class takes on a project that will leave a long term impact on the community.
The class, graduating in June, has taken on renovating and remodeling the children’s area of the Carson City Library. Current plans include, but are not limited to, furniture, décor and painting.
The class is seeking to raise $6,000 for supplies to make the space creative and dynamic for Carson City’s children.
To help with fundraising the class has partnered with Applebee’s for a Dining to Donate event from 5-8 p.m. Feb. 25.
Applebee’s, 3300 S. Carson St., has agreed to donate 15 percent of the check to the leadership class during that time. Patrons must present fliers.
