Dec. 27, 1998 - Jan. 28, 2015
Our story started 16 years ago on (Valentines Day) February 14, 1999. Dally was 8 weeks old, free, and in a box outside the Carson City original Wal-Mart. When our eyes met I knew we were meant to find each other. My mom let me bring her home, and my dad allowed me to keep her! Being 13 at the time, I had no clue that God had sent me an angel. Now that I’m 29, it’s never been clearer. I’ve had many set backs and disadvantages in my life, and Dallas helped me through all of them. She taught me respect, kindness, patience, perseverance, loyalty, selflessness, finances, and at the end loss! But the greatest was faith & love. Dally was the runt of the litter, had many Illnesses, horrible allergies, and cancer, but she never let life get down! She WAS the energizer bunny! The last few years, she required 24/7 care, hand feedings, diaper changing, you name it. She got the best! If I had to choose I’d do it again. The both of us put a new meaning to “pray without ceasing”. Dally helped make me the Christian I am today. Our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ was always there for both of us, and he still is today! God will never leave my side and he is watching over her until we meet again at the rainbow bridge! My life will never be the same again. I miss her everyday and always will. I have years of wonderful memories that always make me smile. No words could ever express how much she meant to me. Dallas LOVED long car rides, spending time with the people she loved, dressing up and taking ton of photos, squeaking her many toys, eating treats, bones, ice cream, homemade birthday cakes, Papa and Granny’s cooking, cool green grass, beautiful days at the park, opening presents, when I would sing, hold, and give her kisses. I want to give a special thank you to her Granny (second mom) and Papa, thank you for everything you did along the way especially at the end! To Ruby and the whole Shull/LeGate family, and many friends for you prayers and love! To Rev. Jeff and Rev. Kim for blessing her in 2014, and the support of all who attend St. Peter’s Church! To Thomas S., Billy, Annie, SVH, Quail Ridge, Docs, Carson Tahoe, All Creatures Mobile Vet, and A Beloved Friends Pet Crematory! Songs in her memory include Ed Sheeran- “Thinking Out Loud”, Faith Hill- “There You’ll Be”, Miranda Lambert- “Over You”, and Carrie Underwood- “See You Again”. Pooh Bear, daughter, best friend, nurse, and Valentine” I will never forget you, I’ll be missing you, I enjoyed being your mommy. Thank you. RIP. I love you! I love you. - Heather Shull
