Concert. The entertainment given at the Carson Theatre last evening was varied, amusingly interesting and artistic in execution. Mrs. Moore is unequalled in her rapid character changes, acts them to perfection — in both imitation and voice. She is a very strong, clear, ringing musical voice. Mrs. Marble, was matchless. Her “Ay Chiquita,” in Spanish, was so expressively sung.

Dust to dust (Continued from Friday). A picturesque scene. During the service the scene was peculiar for the picturesque effect of its surroundings. In the vicinity and not more than over 100 yards rises an abrupt rocky prominence over 200 feet high. At the mound from base to summit was crowded with people of all classes and descriptions. Upon the largest boulder a group of Indians were gathered, and there was scarcely a rock that did not afford seating. (Continued Sunday).

Mrs. F. W. Fletcher has received word of the promotions of her two sons, Donald W., and Robert S. Fletcher, to the rank of first class petty officers. Both are stationed in the pacific theater.

Mrs. Robert Shriver entertained the Thursday bridge club last night. Refreshments were served at a late hour to Mesdames Maurice Adams, high scorer, Dan Murphy, second high scorer, Bill Cardinal, traveling award.
