Jane Aileen Richards

Jane Aileen Richards, 66, passed away in her home after a 60 year struggle with diabetes on Sunday, December 7, 2014 in Carson City, NV. Jane was born October 19, 1948 in Oakland, CA to Jack and Dolores Richards. She graduated from the University of San Francisco in June of 1970 with a degree in Nursing. She also became a licensed Nurse Practitioner and work for many years in hospitals and clinics in California and Washington, taking her education and interest in the wellbeing of all people to small cities and communities. She loved her extended family and friends she met through her PEO, her adopted football team the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the San Francisco Giants and 49ers, Rotary and her beloved Comstock Cowboys in Virginia City. Jane enjoyed family genealogy and most of all her pets. She is survived by her three brothers, Mike, Don (Joe) and Jim. Memorial services will be held on February 7, 2015 at 1pm at Autumn Funerals & Cremations, 1575 N. Lompa Lane, Carson City, NV 89701. Her ashes will be distributed on July 14, 2015 at a family ceremony (friends welcome ask for directions). In lieu of flowers, please make a
