RENO — A California-based company that analyzes real estate data is moving its headquarters to downtown Reno along with up to 400 jobs.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reported Tuesday that Clear Capital’s new headquarters will be in the Park Center Tower across the street from Aces Ballpark.
Company president Kevin Marshall says Reno’s growing tech sector was one of the reasons they decided to move from Truckee, California.
He also cited the high caliber of curriculum at the University of Nevada, Reno and easier access to Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
Marshall says up to 400 workers will be paid an annual average salary of more than $60,000.
Mike Kazmierski, president of the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, says it’s a significant part of the effort to revitalize the city’s core.
