Carson Warm Springs. A street railway running from the V & T Depot to the Carson Warm Springs is proposed by Assemblyman Johnson of Douglas. It would take in and drop off passengers and baggage to and from the depot and afford a much desired regular and commodious train to the baths.

Laughing gas. The young lady closest to the gas was the most affected and she sided up to Major Dennis and checked him under the chin with a sly giggle. The gas then spread to old Nick, and he sent forth a savage laugh that shook the plaster off the ceiling. The two young ladies burst out laughing unmindful of the chaplain who gave a bewitching grimace. Then such a shout of laughter went up from the gathering that people on the street wondered what was the matter. (Continued on Thursday).

Page for the Assembly. Walter Picket, formerly of this city, is a candidate for Page of the Assembly. He is qualified to fill the duties. His father died some time ago leaving a family and widow to work for the little ones. Mrs. Picket, a former Carson girl, has met with misfortune and was compelled to place two of her children in a home where they can be cared for.
