Rogues Gallery: A law may be passed making it possible for the Warden of the penitentiary to secure photographs of persons convicted of a crime in Nevada. Nevada is the only State in the Union where this law is not in effect… Criminals dread the thought of a rogue’s gallery.

London: A piano for playing in bed will be shown at the British Industries Fair. The inventor wants to attempt to make the lives of the sick and bedridden happier. The piano is placed at the foot of the bed, and the keyboard is pulled out like a drawer and bent over on hinges until it is at right angle for the player’s hands.

Martin Luther King was attacked in Selma, Ala., when he registered at a previously white Selma hotel. King was hit in the right temple and kicked in the groin. The assailant was arrested and taken to jail…
