Nov. 1943 - Dec. 2014
Verda Kay Brady was born November, 1943 in Burley, Idaho. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse, caring and helping others throughout most of her life. She was an avid animal lover, taking in strays and rescuing dogs and cats, and then raising them. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers, sharing the produce she grew with neighbors and friends. She was married to Samual Brady, a fourth generation Nevadan, living in Mound House and raising a family. She worked for Carson Convelescent Center for many years. She then retired in 2002. She was a great mother, wife, neighbor, and friend. She will be missed by many who knew her. She left us on Christmas eve, December 24th, 2014 to spend it with her husband Sam who left us a year earlier. Her smiling face and her giving nature will be missed. Services to be announced at a later date.
