Alvery Jackson

Alvery Jackson, life long resident of Fallon, Nevada passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 11, 2015. Alvery was born in Schurz, NV on December 6, 1948 to Lawrence and Louise Jackson, he spent his life in Fallon. Alvery graduated from Churchill County High school in 1969. He spent many years with his foster parents Tharon and Howard Turley.

Alvery had worked for 10 years at Nevada Cement before going to work at Kennametal, a job he retired from after 33 years, working maintenance at the refinery. On his weekends and evenings he worked for Marie Sherman on her ranch.

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gary; Dexter; Damon and Russell ; foster parents, Howard and Tharon Turley. Alvery is survived by his wife, Estelle Jackson; brothers, Rodney Jackson; Paul Jackson; Everett Smith; sisters, Madge Smith-Toby; Valerie Smith; Valerie Jackson; Lynn Herman; numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Alveryís life will be held on Tuesday, January 20,2015 at 11:00 A M, at The Gardens Chapel with burial to follow at the Churchill County Cemetery.
