Theodora Fisher

Theodora Fisher passed away peacefully on 6/12/2015 in Gardnerville surrounded by family. Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma 8/13/1914 the second of 4 children born to Minnie and Peter Flessas. Teddy lived in Muskogee until the age of 4. At 4, her family moved to Hollywood, Florida where she graduated high school and married Thomas Outten who she later divorced. In 1945, she met and married Donald Fisher and moved to Southern California where she lived until 1961, then moved to Lake Tahoe, CA. Then she made her final home in Gardnerville. Teddy was a paralegal in law offices until the mid-80;s. After her retirement she was a change person at Scolari’s market and loved to talk to the people and help out. Teddy enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge, crossword puzzles, and golf. She was loved by many. She had a wonderful smile and great sense of humor. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at the Burbank, CA chapter in the 1970’s. Teddy was preceded in death by her son, Thomas, her sisters, Elaine and Kanala, her brother, Jimmy and granddaughter, Sherrill. She is survived by her daughters Roxanne Jones, Donna (Jim) Delaune, Grandchildren Scott, Kimberly, Connie, Todd, Chris, 7 great- grandchildren and one great great- grand child. She will be missed dearly.
