Mom & Pop’s Diner, 401 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.
Panda Express, 921 Topsy Lane, Suite 414, scored 100 points.
Pizza Factory, 3120 E. Highway 50, Suite 3, scored 100 points.
Lupita’s Mexican Restaurant, 1939 N. Carson St., scored 95 points. A home style freezer was found in the kitchen. A self-closing spring in the women’s bathroom was broken.
La Salsa Grill, 963 Topsy Lane, Suite 316, scored 89 points. Eggs were stored above salads and other prepared foods in the reach-in refrigerator. Uncovered and unlabeled food was found in the freezer. Dry cloths were used to store glassware and other items. There was no certified food handler on duty, and a county health permit was not posted in a prominent location.
