The Brewery Arts Center will present Men of Worth, an Irish and Scottish folk music duo, at 7 p.m. Friday, March 13, in the Black Box Theater.
Men of Worth was formed in 1986 by Scotsman Donnie Macdonald and Irishman James Keigher who came together to perform folk music from Ireland and Scotland by combining traditional and contemporary styles.
The band, whose shows combine humour with soulful ballads, performs concerts and festivals around the world. It has recorded 11 albums.
Tickets are $25 for general admission; $20 for seniors and $18 for BAC members.

The Brewery Arts Center is a nonprofit that supports arts in Carson City and the surrounding area through cultural events for all ages. The BAC’s campus is home to the Nevada Artists Association gallery, an artisan store where local artists can present and promote their work, Access Carson City, the local cable access channel, Foodies Bystro, Wild Horse Children’s Theater, and Proscenium Players.
