Marilyn L. Supera, age 79, a Carson City resident from 1944 to 2007, passed away on Valentine’s Day. A memorial service is pending. Mrs. Supera was born on November 9, 1935 in Santa Monica, CA to Orville and Mildred Schaub Johnson. Mrs. Supera was a 1954 graduate of Carson High School and attended Western Nevada Community College. She retired from the Nevada Employment Security Department as an employment specialist. She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary #1006 for over

50 years. She was preceded in death by her daughters Marianne Supera and Marie Del Carlo, grandson Jason Alsup, brothers Ernest and Frederick, and sister Kathleen. Among her survivors are her daughter Lynn Supera Smith, son-in-law David Smith of San Ramon CA, and grandsons Drew and Cole Alsup of Carson City. Friends are requested to make donations in her name to their favorite charities.
