Charlene “Char” Noone McDonald

Charlene “Char” Noone McDonald, 61, of Gardnerville passed away on April 4, 2015 at Renown Medical Center in Reno with her family by her side after courageously battling cancer. Charlene is survived by her beloved husband of more than fourteen years, Gary McDonald, a long time resident of Gardnerville, NV and her two daughters who were the joys of her life, Cara, 27, and Krista, 26. Charlene was born in Torrance, CA to John and Evelyn Noone and is one of eleven children and is survived by siblings Janet Miller, Barbara Conley, Mary Ozenne, Kathy Fricker, Robert Noone, Tom Noone and Pat Noone. She was predeceased in death by both parents John and Evelyn Noone and siblings Jack Noone, Paul Noone, and Joyce Ivers. Most recently, she worked for Realty Executives as a real estate agent and also worked as a mobile notary. Prior to that, she worked as an administrative assistant for a private company at Lake Tahoe. She had a love for life and will be deeply missed. Charlene’s family had a wonderful memorial in Torrance, CA and spread her ashes according to her wishes. There will also be a casual celebration of Charlene’s life for her friends and for the community to be held on Saturday May 2nd, 2015 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Community Center located at 1329 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville, NV 89410. Refreshments will be provided.
