Purpose of dreams focus of worship service today
“The Spiritual Purpose of Dreams” is the topic of a free worship service sponsored by Eckankar, Religion of the Light and Sound of God, at 10 a.m. today at the Carson City Community Center.
The one-hour event includes a short talk by a facilitator, followed by readings, a small-group discussion and a short contemplation.

Interfaith minister visiting Unity of the Sierra
Rev. Kathy Zavada, an interfaith minister and sacred music recording artist, is returning to Carson City to present “Three Keys to Enlightened Doing: Acceptance, Enjoyment and Enthusiasm” at 6 p.m. Friday, May 29, at Unity of the Sierra, at the corner of Division and Telegraph streets.
Zavada’s presentation includes a musical performance and talk focusing on how to align inner and outer purpose and stay enlightened in day-to-day life.
