First Christian Church offering vacation Bible school

First Christian Church, 2211 Mouton Drive, is hosting its vacation Bible school in which children are invited to sing, shout, praise and pray while being introduced to Bible stories with a daily theme.

The event, which runs from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. June 8-12, encourages children to love God and be motivated to serve others through interactive activities.

First Baptist to hold KIDZ KAMP

First Baptist Church will present its Vacation Bible School, KIDZ KAMP, which will be held from 10 a.m. to noon daily from June 8 through 12.

The camp is for children in first through sixth grades. Those participating will attend the “Journey Off The Map” into uncharted territory where they will encounter the unexpected waiting around every corner. They will discover Jesus is the ultimate guide on a journey unknown to them but known to Him. Included will be stories, games, crafts and snacks.

Gospel group visiting Good Shepherd May 31

Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church, 1505 Railroad Drive, is hosting a performance by The Craguns, a gospel musical group led by Jordan Cragun, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 31.
