Carson and Douglas grads wed in Minden ceremony

Bethany LeRae White and Casey James Want married on May 16, 2015, in Minden Park, where 129 attendees witnessed the ceremony officiated by Rev. Mark Demel of Zion Lutheran Church in Fallbrook, Calif.

The ceremony, themed pink and black, was complete with a horse-drawn carriage. A reception at the CVIC Hall in Minden followed.

The maid of honor was Cassie Vondrak. Tiffany O’Day, Heather Partee and Karenza Strode were bridesmaids.

The best man was Tristen Chamness; groomsmen were Ron Chamness, Bud Munger and Cody Klinepeter.

Kylie Want was the flower girl, and Alex and Logan Sternberg were ring bearers.

The bride, a 2009 graduate of Carson High School, is the daughter of Steve and Kathy White of Carson City. She earned a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2013.

The groom, a 2009 graduate of Douglas High School, is the son of Sam Want and the late Pam Want of Gardnerville.

The couple honeymooned a day at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando in Florida, followed by a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise.
