1939 - 2015

Bernadette was born on September 2nd 1939 in North Dakota. Berni was the oldest of five children; she leaves behind four siblings Mike, Marie, Ron, and Belinda. When Berni was thirteen, her family moved to Reseda, CA. In high school she met her first husband Raymond Krepps. She raised three children Donna, Larry and Johnny. Even after a forty plus hour work week and maintaining her home, Berni found time to attend her children’s extracurricular activities and displayed her hidden talent of piano playing. Grandma Berni looked forward to and loved having her grandchildren Pete, Crystal, Amanda, and Josh visit. One of her greatest joys was seeing her great grandchildren, Amelia and Emily. Growing up on a farm Berni was an exceptional animal lover. When she moved to Carson in the early 90’s with her late husband Kenny Lee she immediately adopted three wild mustangs. She also cared for many other animals such as dogs, goats and cats. One of her favorite hobbies was watching and listening to live bands. She loved country music and was a country girl at heart. Berni will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. On October 18th, 2015, angels took Berni to heaven. A memorial mass will be held on November 14th at 1:00pm at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. 3000 N. Lompa Ln Carson City, NV 89706.
