A 2.5 magnitude earthquake was reported at 3:13 p.m. Monday about eight miles southeast of Carson City.
The Nevada Seismological Laboratory at the University of Nevada, Reno reported the quake, which didn’t register a depth, hit three miles east-northeast of Johnson Lane.
