Dianne Dorothy Cribbs was born on February 15, 1952 in Carson City, Nevada to Paul and Dorothy (Anderson) Dube. Dianne was proud to be a fourth generation native Nevadan. She was the youngest of three children, brother, John Dube, and sister Andrae (Jody) Laxague. She attended St. Teresa grade school in Carson City, graduated from Carson City High School and attended UNR in Reno. Dianne enjoyed her childhood summers on the family ranch in Deeth, Elko County, Nevada. She resided for a short while in Wells, Nevada, where she started her lifetime career with the United States Postal Service in the Elko office. Eventually, she transferred to the Minden, Nevada, US Post Office in 1983, where she served the community for the next twenty-nine years. Dianne retired just a few short years ago to her home in Minden. During the early part of her life, Dianne spent many hours ahorseback in Elko Co and along the Carson River. Dianne enjoyed painting during her life, doing such projects as wall murals, for the Headstart school in Wells. Dianne centered her life around her family. She especially enjoyed the many family camping trips. One of Dianne’s greatest joys in life was her home. She especially took pride and spent many hours in her yard growing vegetables that she often shared with family. Dianne continues to live in the hearts of her children; son, Travis Wayne Widmer, and daughter Abby Jo (Scott) Widmer-Bryce of Gardnerville, NV. Dianne was blessed with four grandchildren: Keegan, Jordan, Danielle, and Truett. Please join us for a memorial service at
