Between the Pooch Plunge Pool Party with 102 dogs and the Wag-n-Walk stroll through Carson City’s historical district, there were a lot of wagging tales Sept. 26-27! CASI would like to thank everyone who came out with their dogs to make the weekend so enjoyable!

Kurt Meyer and the wonderful staff at the Carson City Aquatics Center, we know you take on a major day of cleaning after our rowdy pups spend the day playing at the pool. Every year you and your staff open the gates for a fun filled day for dogs and their owners.

Artistic Fence Company, we thank you for donating the panels that help us keep the dogs safe. You stepped in last minute to help us when we found ourselves without fencing. We are so grateful!

St. Paul’s Lutheran Family, your 100 Kindnesses topped off a really nice day. Sharing dog treats and a smile with everyone made our event extra special.

Sunday’s Wag-n-Walk created lasting memories of its own! To Café at Adele’s, your generous gift of free coffee and mimosas to everyone who came to join us for a walk sure started the morning off right and teamed beautifully with the delicious cookies baked and donated by L.A. Bakery.

Everlasting Footprints Photography, the photo shoot you provided for each participant really was a treat, and we are so thrilled with how happy everyone was with the pictures!

Thank you to Kyle, Teri and Cat with Carson City Visitors Bureau for helping to get the word out about how dog friendly our community is, and, finally, thank you to Carson High School’s metal shop for the amazing custom made Carson City dog tags.

Finally, to everyone who came out to volunteer, thank you! Events like this are nothing without your support. Here’s to celebrating with our furry friends and getting this new shelter built!
