New music club started at Carson City school
Silver State Charter School has started a new music club open to everyone — regardless of their ability to play an instrument — and students are encouraged to try something new and teach other members.
The club is made possible by a grant from the Junior League of Las Vegas. Donations are being accepted to expand and buy more instruments. Volunteers from the community are also sought to teach club members how to play instruments.
