Andrew Nolan Douglas passed away at his residence in Fallon on October 6, 2015 with his family by his side. Drew was born on June 9, 1939 in Aledo, Illionis to Floyd and Grace Douglas. He joined the United States Navy and served 20 years for his country. In the twenty years it included 2 tours of duty in Viet Nam. After retirement from the military, not sitting idle, he became an electrician, working for the next twenty eight years for United State Gypsum in Empire, Nevada. He with his wife Skipper, moved to Fallon in 2005. In his younger years Drew enjoyed hunting and as he grew older it was spending special time with the grandchildren and reading. Drew is survived by his wife of 46 plus years, Skipper; sons and daughters-in-law, Nolan and Jen Douglas of Redwing, Minnesota; Scott and Deanna Douglas of Fallon; sister, Jacklyn Swanson of Fallon; grandchildren; Bonnie Longoria of San Antonio, TX.; Ragan Goering; Camden Goering; Kaden Douglas; Andy Douglas and Cameron Matzen. A Celebration of Drew’s life were held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at The Gardens Chapel.
