Carson City’s Mom & Pop’s ranks No. 2 in state for Best Diners on website

Those in Carson City know Mom & Pop’s is a classic diner and now the restaurant has made a name for itself across the state.

In ranking the top 10 diners in Nevada, www.onlyinyourstate.com rated Mom & Pop’s Diner as the state’s No. 2 diner. Onlyinyourstate.com is a website that posts facts and rankings dealing with virtually any subject for all of the 50 states.

“I have to say this is a proud day to see this,” posted Mom and Pop’s on its Facebook page. “I am speechless. Yeah!!!!!!!”

Onlyinyourstate.com states this about Mom and Pop’s located at 224 S. Carson St.: “Mom & Pop’s Diner is a classic hometown diner that serves a delicious breakfast and lunch. Two other area restaurants also cracked the top 10. Yerington’s King’s Diner, 20 W. Bridge St. was ranked seventh.
