Donald E. Ragsdale

Donald E. Ragsdale age 74 past away on August 31, 2015 at Carson Tahoe Hospital after a short but valiant battle with several medical issues. He was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on March 7, 1941. He grow-up in San Francisco and graduated from South San Francisco High School. He was married to his high school sweetheart for 55 years. He brought his family to Carson City in 1976, where he worked for the Carpenter’s Union until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Earleene Ragsdale and their four children and spouses: daughter Donna and her husband Wayne Richardson, son David and his wife Katheen Ragsdale, daughter Linda and her husband Dewayne Jones, daughter Tamarie and her husband Tony Ackernecht. His five grandchildren are: Ben Richardson, Matthew Richardson, Sarah Mahoney, Erica Reyes, and Jordan Ackernecht. Donald was also a proud great grandpa to two beautiful babies: Alex Reyes and Caroline Mahoney. He will be remembered for his zest for life and his quick wit. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and rock hunting in the Nevada desert. He will be missed by so many that loved him.At his request there will not be a memorial
