Appeal moved. Our office has been removed from the old stand on Curry Street to Boyd’s brick building on Second Street, south side of the Plaza. Our friends and patrons are invited to come and see us and inspect our new power presses. We now have all the necessary material of a first class newspaper, and are prepared to print anything from a pillbox label to a circus bill.

Shooting. The Honorable Thomas Wren received a dispatch from Eureka that J. W. Dean had been shot. He was the heaviest individual taxpayer in Eureka County. The trouble grew out of lawsuit over the ownership of Dean’s ranch.

Electric railway. Goldfield, the metropolis of southwestern Nevada, will have electric cars running in the next six months. A fare is to be made to Columbia of 10 cents and to Diamond field of 20 cents. Organized by James A. Pearce, the well known mining man, and New York capitalist ...

Ringo Starr. Mrs. Ringo Starr gave birth to a son, and Ringo pronounced him “a little smasher.”

Boa constrictor. A six-foot boa constrictor was found at the Scolari’s parking lot “enjoying the dog days of summer.” The snake is being held at Carson Animal Control until it is claimed by its owner.
