The following information applies to the period of April 4-10.
Work will continue on the Downtown Corridor improvement project on Carson Street. These sources are being updated weekly throughout the duration of the project.
The northbound off-ramp from I-580 to eastbound U.S. Highway 50 will be temporarily closed from 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 3 to 6 a.m. on Monday, April 4, due to crack sealing work. Additionally, a single lane will be closed on the southbound freeway off-ramp to U.S. Highway 50 eastbound.
Periodic lane and ramp closures will take place on southbound I-580 and alternate U.S. Highway 395 in southern Washoe Valley as the Nevada Department of Transportation begins construction of a concrete barrier rail.
Washington Street from Carson Street to N. Phillips Street will be closed from Monday through Sunday due to utility work and repaving. The area will be open to traffic late Sunday. Access accommodations will be made for the LabCorp and adjacent office buildings.
Lane closures are expected due to utility work from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the following locations:
Mountain Street between Tahoe and Topaz drives Monday though Wednesday
Arrowhead Drive, between U.S. Highway 50 and Goni Road, and on Goni Road north of Arrowhead Drive, weekdays
Center Drive, south of Topsy Lane, will be closed Tuesday through Thursday
Utility work will continue from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays with possible flagger controlled traffic at the following locations:
Mountain Street between Fleischmann Way and Long Street
Division Street between Fleischmann Way and Long Street
Long Street between Mountain and Division streets
Fleischmann Way between Mountain and Division streets
Sierra Circle, Hillside Way, Miller Way, Pine View Way, and Lane Circle
There will be lane closures on US Highway 395 at the Cradlebaugh Bridge in Douglas County north of Stephanie Way. There will be single lane traffic in both directions, but northbound will have two lanes from 7 to 10 a.m., and southbound will have two lanes from 2 to 5 p.m. to accommodate traffic. This project is expected to continue until the end of April.
