Caution — watch for new stop signs!
Carson City street crews have completed placing stop signs at Washington and on streets entering King Street from Nevada Street to the west city limits.
Street superintendent Jack Butti said today the signs have been placed in accordance with the traffic plan approved by city trustees and the planning commission.
Stop signs on other streets which were designated on the traffic plan will be put up as soon as they are received, Butti said. The signs on King Street were furnished by the highway department, since it is a secondary state highway, he said.
