Mary Gavin

Carson City Resident, Mary Gavin, widow of William (Bill) Gavin passed away peacefully on March 20th. Her and Bill moved to Carson City in the seventies from the Bay Area. Mary retired from the State of Nevada, Employment Security Division. Mary touched the lives of many people. She was a long-term hospice volunteer, gave to dozens of charities, a devoted Catholic and a friend of Bill W for over 50 years. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and taking classes at WNC. Mary leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law, John and Joyce, and her adored granddaughter, Tedra Gavin. Following her wishes, there will be no services.
