Feb 18, 1970 - Mar 09, 2016
Paul Charles Beck passed away unexpectedly March 9th, 2016 while in Houston, TX on a business trip at the age of 46. He was born February 18th, 1970 in Huntington Beach, CA. For the past few years he had been splitting his time between Dayton, NV and Anchorage, AK. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Paula Mahoney Beck; daughter, Britni Anne Beck (23); daughter, Tori Kay Beck (22); father, Pierre Michael Beck; brother, Michael Anthony Beck and his wife Diane Beck; two nephews; and many close friends worldwide. He was predeceased by his mother Sara Kay Beck. Paul was a person that was very sentimental and kept in touch with friends from elementary school through college. He never met a stranger. After graduating from Bonanza High School, Las Vegas, NV in 1988 he attended U.N.L.V., graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Paul met his wife, Paula, in 1990 and they were married February 29th, 1992. He went on to become a licensed mechanical engineer in the states of Nevada and Alaska. His career path led him to gas pipelining projects all over the world. He really loved the gypsy lifestyle of pipelining. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, SCUBA diving and traveling to exotic places. He will be sorely missed by his family and all the people he counted as friends around the world. He was lucky enough to do and experience things in his short life many people only dream about. His bucket list was very nearly complete. His ashes will be scattered at a place close to our family’s hearts near Mammoth Lakes, CA. A crowdfunding site has been set up to help his family with travel costs to put his affairs in order. http://paulbecksfamilyfund.mydagsite.com/
