Lois Grace Walmsley Hill passed away the evening of July 19, 2016.
She was born in Dayton, Nevada, on December 3, 1929. She was born to Zenas Andrew and Lela (Stevenson) Walmsley, their fourth child.
Lois was “THE” graduating class of Dayton High School in 1947. After graduation she moved to Carson City to work for Governor Russell. There she met Charles Leonard Hill, who was working upstairs for the Highway Department. They
married and had three children.

Lois loved music, dancing, travel, writing poems and a good dirty joke.
She was preceded in death by Charlie, her husband of 49 years, older brothers, Tommy and Ray, and her beloved sister, Beatrice.
Those who will miss her most are her children, Charles Edward Hill (Louise), Barbara Allen (Byron), and Shirley Rains (Ed), grandchildren, Tony M., Kiana, Tony T., Jennifer and Brenda, her best friend and sister-in-law, May Walmsley, and many nieces and nephews.
She will be memorialized with a private family celebration of life.
