Cheers & Kudos: The Greenhouse Project thanks community Concert Under the Stars support

The Greenhouse Project board would like to thank the Carson City community and the surrounding areas for their support for the 8th annual Concert Under the Stars, which featured Tower of Power and The Rowan Bros.

This is one of two annual fundraisers that continues GHP’s work of educating young people of all ages within Carson City School District about sustainability in growing practices, while also providing produce for the underserved in our community and to the culinary classes at Carson High School. It is a teaching facility, and as such the board works closely in public-private partnership to keep funding sustainable as well as exploring ways to incorporate cutting-edge farming practices and technologies into the program.

Thanks to to everyone who donated items for the live auction with its many trip packages, dinner with the band and more, proceeds which support GHP, and for those who donated yard art and purchased items from Capital City FFA’s silent auction. All proceeds from the silent auction allows our ag students to attend competitions and trainings throughout the year.
