Nevada Artists announce winners in photography

The Nevada Artists Association Gallery has announced its winners for this year’s annual photography exhibit.

Local and regional photographers, NAA members and non members, were invited to enter their photos for this judged event.

The NAA Gallery is located at Carson City’s Brewery Arts Center, 449 West King Street.

Open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Photography Exhibit opened August 1 and will run through September 9. A reception for the photographers will be held in the gallery on August 13, 6-8 p.m.

Winners were:

Best of Show: Pamela Sauer, Minden, “Turmoil”; First Place: Bob Hickox, Carson City, “Ventilation”; Second Place: Kristy Dial, Minden, “San Xavier Mission”; Third Place: Michael Black, Reno, “Two Tone Barn”; Peoples Choice, Spirit of America Show, Alice Winslow, Dayton, “Morning Sunshine”; Honorable Mention: Fred Howland, Carson City and Jim Shafer, Fernley.
