Carson City health inspections

Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Aug. 19. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

Buffalo Wild Wings, 3815 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Carson Nugget, Alatte Coffee and Wine Bar, 507 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Carson Nugget, Angelina’s Italian Bistro, 507 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Carson Nugget, Cork & Bottle, 507 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Carson Nugget, Garden Cafe, 507 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Carson Nugget, High Sierra Loft, 507 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

S&S Brunchette, 2460 Fairview Drive, scored 99 points. Garbage storage container lids were not closed.

Butler Meats, 1909 N. Carson St., scored 97 points. The operator’s food handler certification was expired.

Carson Nugget, sports bar, 507 N. Carson St., scored 97 points. There were no disposable paper hand towels at the employee hand wash sink.

Country Store, 3389 E. Highway 50, scored 92 points. A gap was found at the bottom of the rear entry door. The counter behind the soda dispensing unit needed to be cleaned. A self-closing device was missing from the bathroom door.

Carson Nugget, main kitchen, 507 N. Carson St., scored 91 points. Seals on refrigeration units needed to be replaced. Eggs were being stored over prepared foods on the food preparation line in the refrigerator, corrected on site.
